Easy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
A simple beef and broccoli stir fry made with items from the Minimalist Pantry plus beef and broccoli!

- 0.5 lb Beef strips (~0.25kg)
- 1/2 Yellow onion* Diced
- 4 cloves Garlic* Minced
- 3 Carrots* Coined
- 1 head Broccoli Cut into florets
- 1/3 cup Low sodium soy sauce*
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar*
- 3 tsp Ginger* Grated
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes*
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil (optional: can use any oil)*

Prepare
Dice the onion, peel and coin the carrots, chop the broccoli into florets
Cut beef into thin strips if not purchased as stir-fry strips
Mince the garlic and grate the ginger
Cook
Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
Heat oil in a large fry pan or wok on medium-high heat. Add onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add beef to the pan and let cook 3-5 minutes until no longer pink.
Add the broccoli, carrots and stir. Add the sauce and mix together well.
Let cook an additional 12-15 minutes until the broccoli and carrots are fork tender.
